We are available to our customers at three locations

We operate a modern and very environmentally-friendly scrap yard in Knittelfeld. Thanks to our scrap processing with large shears and shredders and logistics with our own fleet of vehicles and containers, we can ensure a range of services to meet the needs of every customer. At our Klagenfurt site – a central location for our customers – we trade in ferrous scrap and non-ferrous metals.
Regional customers particularly appreciate the location because of the large selection of ”usable goods” we have in store. Our Fritz KUTTIN GmbH facility in East Tyrol, Austria, also offers the convenience of an easily accessible location. In Lienz, a town in the immediate vicinity of Dölsach railway station, the scrap metal collection in the East Tyrol region has been reorganised since it opened in 2011. Since then, it has offered the population improved service quality.

Scrap metal

KUTTIN trades in ferrous scrap, shredded steel scrap and alloyed scrap. The individual types of scrap differ in size, weight and composition.

Non-ferrous metals

“Non-ferrous metals” exhibit a typical hardness. They also have specific material properties, including tensile strength, breaking strength, thermal conductivity, electrical conductivity and opacity.

Recyclable waste & recycling

We take care of your waste materials reliably and in careful compliance with standards. KUTTIN does everything it can to reuse materials, convert products or reintegrate them into the production chain as raw materials.

Container rental

Day after day, our customers accumulate waste materials, and we transport and store these punctually and in an environmentally friendly manner. This is where our containers and our vehicle fleet come into play. When it comes to logistics, our customers fully rely on our expertise.

Chip briquetting

The standout feature of our system is its volume reduction of chips, which can be up to 50:1 with a voluminous input. The result is a reduction of storage and transport costs.

Demolition work

One of KUTTIN’s specialities! We can take care of everything from the demolition of old factory buildings or disused steel railway bridges, disposal services after major fires to the dismantling of heating systems and large boilers.

Sekundärrohstoffe

Wir setzen wir jährlich rund 1 Million Tonnen Sekundärrohstoffe um.

Substitution

Die Substitution von Primärrohstoffen durch Sekundärrohstoffe spart 1,2 Tonnen CO² pro erzeugter Tonne Stahl ein.

CO² Ausstoß

Das verhindert einen CO²-Ausstoß von über 1 Million Tonnen pro Jahr.

Schlüssellieferant

Wir vereinen führende Recyclingunternehmen im Eisen- und Metallbereich und sind ein Schlüssellieferant der heimischen Stahlindustrie.
